I provide chain of custody results from the Lab in PDF format and an Excel spreadsheet with Tech Notes identifying the Blanks, Duplicates, missing tests, or inaccessible locations to make the composition of your reports easier.

We keep an inventory of Charcoal Adsorption Devices on hand so we can quickly respond to your schedule. I pride myself on providing fast and accurate service.

BeSure1st Home Inspections uses advanced pulse mode ionization equipment, the Radstar Alpha 516, to get the most accurate measurements possible and the results are available immediately upon the completion of the radon test. There is no waiting for a lab to return the test days later. 

As a young Sergeant in the US Army, I was trained as a Nuclear warfare technician. I first learned to measure radiation in 1972.

I maintain qualifications as an Analytical Service Provider and a Radon Measurement Professional through continuing education and participation in various professional organizations.

• Continuous Measurement Device Alpha 516 electret ionization chamber for accurate single test or validation, calibrated annually and duplicate tested every 10 tests, cross-checked bi-annually.

• CADs - Charcoal Adsorption Devices typically used in Multifamily and Large Buildings or where multiple rooms need to be tested.

• Alpha track canisters for longer-term testing.

• Liquid Scintillation Vials, typically used in buildings where only a few tests are needed.
